The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 may not be coming to Netflix in October 2022. The popular legal drama following an LA-based defence attorney and recovering addict who conducts significant business from the back of his Lincoln Town Car was green-lit for a second season, but the wait for its return continues!

The Netflix series based on the novels by Michael Connelley debuted in 2022 and was quickly renewed by the streaming giant for season two.

Fans of the show have been waiting to hear any news on production and whether or not it will return to screens.

Please read below for everything we know about The Lincoln Lawyer season 2.

Does The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 have a release date?

Unfortunately, there isn’t an official release date for the season, but given that production may not have even begun yet, it may not come as a surprise.

We can’t offer an official release date for the season, but we predict it will be in late 2022. Filming has yet to start, and it’s unsure if Mickey Heller will make a return

Filming for season 1 was completed in just over two months and spent around nine months in post-production before being released on the streamer in May 2022. Of course, production this time around will likely take less time due to it being solely produced by Netflix, but hypothetically speaking, if filming begins in the next two months, we could see season 2 by the summer or fall of 2023.
