The Credibility Of Michael Jackson’s Accusers Will Make You Rethink The HBO Documentary

What the documentary is hiding from the public and the proof.

HBO has recently aired the first half of Dan Reed’s documentary Leaving Neverland. And unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, it has caused massive shockwaves.

Yet, the two accusers, James Safechuck and Wade Robson, are now the ones being accused of all sorts of sordid and unsavoury things. Charles Thomson, a multi-award-winning journalist from Great Britain shared a massive list (shared on Reddit) of reasons why these guys cannot and should not be trusted.

This is no hack job list from Reddit either — Thomson has proof backed up through sources which he provides links for. You can read emails, court proceeding papers, and more showing just how far the public has been had by Robson and Safechuck. Most amazingly, all this information is public record and it has been ignored for the sensationalization of the abuse story.

It’s true that there is a fine line between victim shaming and exposing a lie. The act of stating Safechuck and Robson are lying about their allegations against Michael Jackson could be detrimental for actual victims of abuse. Yet, as journalists we are duty bound to tell the truth even when the truth hurts.
