Many have not stopped talking about the new Netflix series Squid Games, but what people may not know is that there were edits made after its release.

In the pilot episode, Seong Gi-Hun, played by Lee Jung-Jae received a business card after an interesting encounter in the subway.

The card displays a visible number that you would assume would be a made up phone number for the purpose of being on the show. Apparently since the number was so clear, there were viewers who decided to try it out.

It would seem that the number actually belongs to a real man from Korea’s Gyeonggi Province, who has been blasted with never-ending calls since the show aired.

The man gave a statement to Korean publication Money Today saying:

‘It has come to the point where people are reaching out day and night due to their curiosity. It drains my phone’s battery and it turns off. At first, I didn’t know why, then my friend told me that my number came out [in the series].’

Netflix has since taken accountability for the mistake and is working to ensure that this situation will not happen again.

How would you feel if a show accidentally used your number and you started to receive thousands of calls?

Check out how Netflix can predict your future.
