The mystery drama Nancy Drew has anticipated fans to watch the final season. The CW is gearing up for its primetime release line-up of 2023.
Unfortunately, the show and its final season will be released in January.
Here’s the plot of the show:
Postponing her application to Columbia University after the death of her mother, 18-year-old Nancy Drew becomes involved in the murder investigation of socialite Tiffany Hudson. Along with the staff at The Crow, the restaurant where she works – with prickly manager George Huang, cosmopolitan and elegant waitress Beth Marvin, laid-back dishwasher ace, and the informal relationship she has with her. The mechanic Ned “Nick” Nickerson – you reluctantly form a band together to clear their names of suspicion. With secrets they all desperately try to keep, Nancy decides not only to reveal them to trust them but also Tiffany’s homicide, a decades-old cold case that has become an urban legend.
Surprisingly, Nancy Drew is the only show that doesn’t have a scheduled premiere window. The Flash will return next month, following Superman and Lois in March, and Spring is saved for Riverdale by The CW.
It’s not a production issue, as the series’ final season has finished filming. Based on the midseason schedule, fans can wait for the new season to hit the screens after March unless the CW plans to air the series on Sundays.
The showrunners Melinda Hsu Taylor and Noga Landau confirmed that we would see star-crossed romance Nace shippers get along for the ride.
