Magnum P.I. Season 5 Release Date On NBC?

Magnum P.I. Season 5 will be released soon. During the cancellation season, when the networks went for some heartbreaking spring cleaning, the reboot series was axed by CBS.

Obviously, a lack of audience wasn’t an issue but rather a financial decision made by the network since the show was a licensed property. However, not only did the fans rally, making their voices heard so that the interested networks and streaming services would be aware of the show’s devoted following.

Coming in at the buzzer, NBC dived in while the contracts were expiring, saved the special program, and added it to its roster. But fans will have to satisfy themselves with two 10-episode seasons. However, there is an option for further renewals on the table. Not to mention, a guaranteed season 6 has settled the nerves of fans who likely was curious if it would be a one-and-done for the network.

Unfortunately, Season 5 won’t debut before the end of 2022. But when can fans expect Thomas Magnum’s story?

The show’s fifth season will officially arrive at NBC‘s 2022-2023 television line-up on Sunday, February 19th, 2023, at 8 p.m. E.T. As previously mentioned, viewers can expect a 10-episode season, a stark withdrawal from the show’s typical 20 episode season runs. It’ll be fascinating to see how the writers compensate for the shorter season. We know that the fans will be delighted to have their show back.
