If you’ve loved Justin Timberlake for his melodic music, you should check out his performance as an actor, so you must watch Palmer. The movie premiered in 2021 on Apple TV+, but it’s picking up searches now.

Since it’s been almost a year, the movie has garnered quite the ratings and reviews. Both from critics as well as the audiences. On Rotten Tomatoes, it scored 72%.

The movie follows Eddie Palmer, played by Timberlake, who is released from jail after serving 12 years and resides with his grandmother as he adjusts to life outside. He eventually develops a friendship with a little boy named Sam, who comes from a difficult home and is bullied at school. For defying gender expectations. His mother is an addict who frequently vanishes and dates an abusive man. Additionally, Maggie, the boy’s teacher, and Palmer fall in love (Alisha Wainwright). However, the future he is attempting to create with his newfound family may be jeopardized by his previous issues.

Unfortunately, the movie is unavailable on Netflix because it was an Apple TV+ series.
