‘Arcane’ Season 2 Won’t Be Coming to Netflix in February 2023

The critically acclaimed adult animated series Arcane premiered on Netflix over a year ago. Fans are still waiting to find out when the highly anticipated second season will be available on the streaming service. The OTT industry was taken aback by the popular Netflix series Arcane. This intense sci-fi fantasy series explores the origins of two iconic League champions as they navigate the oppressed underground World of Zaun. It is considered one of the finest video game adaptions of all time. In addition, the show received nine Annie nominations for 2022. 

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent confirmed this shortly after the show Arcane premiered in November 2021: the viewers would not have to wait another six years to realize it in the first season. This is why Netflix said that Season 2 would come out after 2022, which means it should have come out by now. The second season of the popular prequel series is still unknown, but there is a good chance that it will be available on Netflix 2023 by the end of the year.

If not this year, then most likely by early 2024. Netflix quickly renewed Arcane because it was a massive success for the streaming service and even won an outstanding Animated Program- Primetime Emmy Award.

Alex Yee and Christian Linke, who co-created Arcane and are also executive producers, stated that they are “above satisfied about the flattering reaction to Arcane’s first season” and “working hard with the creative wizards at Fortiche and Riot to deliver our second installment.” As previously mentioned, Ella Purnell, Hailee Steinfeld, and Katie Leung will all repeat their roles as Jinx, Vi, and Caitlyn.
