Mission: Impossible The Final Reckoning is functioning as the final installment of the franchise. But is it the end of the franchise, or is it just the last film with Tom Cruise?

The franchise has been going on for 30 years, with eight movies starring Tom Cruise. There are rumors that Cruise is retiring from the role, noting his age as an action star, but says he “will never stop.”

If Cruise does retire from his role as Ethan Hunt, it begs the question of who will take over the main role. There isn’t a big selection of young action stars, but perhaps the next choice of a Hollywood actor could surprise us all.

The Karate Kid franchise has been alive and well for 30 years, from the original story of Mr. Miyagi and Daniel LaRusso, to the 2010 version of Mr. Han and Dre Parker.

The franchise recently wrapped up their television sequel, Cobra Kai, which saw the main story shift onto Daniel’s famous rival, Johnny Lawrence. The show saw major success and popularity for reviving the series.

Fans are now receiving the collaboration they’ve wished for; Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) will finally meet face-to-face in Karate Kid: Legends, coaching a new student named Li Fong (Ben Wang).

The John Wick franchise is making its return two years after the release of John Wick: Chapter 4. This installment isn’t another chapter in Wick’s story, but more so, a look into the story of Eve Macarro played by Ana de Armas.

If you’re a big fan of John Wick, this is a can’t miss. Ballerina takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. Wick is set to make an appearance in the film, possibly facing off against Macarro.

For fans who are waiting on John Wick: Chapter 5, this film will provide some satisfaction of seeing the Baba Yaga in action until the next installment.

Henry Cavill is out and David Corenswet is in as the new Superman in the DC Universe. James Gunn is directing the film and is currently the executive producer of the new DC Universe.

Cavill was originally announced to be returning in this Superman film, but was fired by Gunn who claimed that the new film would “start fresh” with Superman’s story. Corenswet was later announced as the new Superman.

Despite the negative fan reaction at Cavill’s firing, many were still excited for the new Superman and supportive of Corenswet’s casting, who felt he had the perfect Clark Kent/Superman look.

The cast consists of Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing).
