According to LAD Bible, it appears that Nicholas Cage’s New Year’s Eve plans featured him going out in the British city of Wells, Somerset and treating all the patrons of the local pub to drinks.

The reddit user u/Koink posted a picture on the r/pics subbreddit with the caption: “Nicolas Cage spent NYE in my small, local pub, in Somerset, UK. He bought everyone a drink.” He ended up going viral on the subreddit page by jacking up 40.3 thousand upvotes in 2 days time.

Apparently the wildly popular picture of Cage’s generosity had been taken at the pub named Tramways, which used to be named the Buses Club, of which Cage is now a member. User u/Koink also added on, “Incidentally, he was a total legend, cool dude and is now a member,” suggesting that more Cage sightings may be in the pub’s future.

In fact, the actor who owns many properties, in Las Vegas Nevada, has also set up a home for himself in Wells, Somerset. The actor actually revealed in 2018, on the outlet Somerset Life, “I am a self-confessed Anglophile. I love everything about England; the history, the people, the countryside, the culture – you name it, I love it.” and followed up by stating, “I love seeing places like Buckingham Palace and all those other fantastic buildings which are steeped in history and culture. I love the whole concept of the Royal Family.”

In regards to the United States, Cage had to say, “I actually feel more at home in England than in America because I do not like what was done to the Native Americans. I always see America as really belonging to the Native Americans. Even though I’m American I still feel like a visitor in my own country.”

Well it’s unlikely that Cage will continue to feel like a visitor at Tramways, and not a regular, if he continues to give the pub his patronage, and delight the patrons by routinely buying them all drinks. Cheers!
