With the popularity of games like PUBG and Fortnite quickly climbing, the allure of having a real life Battle Royale on a private island is enticing.
Now, I know what you may be thinking, who wants to run around with Airsoft guns for three days straight? Well you would be surprised. An anonymous millionaire is trying to make this happen. This Battle Royale would be a three days long Airsoft tournament on a private island. According to the post on Hush Hush, a luxury online shop for the wealthy, they are looking for help designing an arena for this 100 person event.
We were approached by one of our customers, who was on the lookout for a private island, for help in setting up the championship. We will also be handling registrations for the event when the time comes. Contestants will be provided with Airsoft guns, ammo and touch-sensitive body armour for a three-day event. The ‘last person standing’ will win a £100,000 jackpot. As it is currently planned, the event is intended to last three days, with 12 hours of competition each day. Competitors will then camp for the night. Food, camping gear and all the necessary equipment will be provided.

I will say I applaud their concern with safety. An event like this, with this many people, could go very wrong very fast. But maybe it would be fun? Of course it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but if you stay up all hours of the night playing Fortnite, maybe this is for you. For all of you who would enjoy this, I hope this millionaire makes it happen.
