If any of you have been a little glum since Hugh Jackman hung up his Wolverine claws in 2017, this will surely cheer you up. The talented actor playfully revealed on Instagram that he found a Wolverine fork in his utensil drawer. I can only imagine the wonderful memories this brought up for him!

The fork reminds us all of the fantastic job Jackman did of being the Wolverine – fans went wild! Check out his post below.

Some thoughtful fans have commented on the post, asking if the utensil was made out of adamantium! When asked last year if he would come back for any X-Men films, he confirmed that he was finished with the role.

When talking to the Daily Beast, Jackman explained:

I knew it was the right time for me to leave the party – not just for me, but for the character.

Somebody else will pick it up and run with it. It’s too good of a character not to. It’s kind of like, you’re on your way home and your friend rings you and goes, ‘Oh, dude, a new DJ just came on and the music is awesome, are you going to come back?’ And you say, ‘Sounds good but…no’.

They’re fine with someone else.

Check out the video below in which Jackman speaks more on Wolverine and why he’s stepping away.

Wow, wise words from Hugh Jackman! Here’s another interview with Jackman and Jimmy Fallon where he also talks about his chat with Jerry Seinfeld.

Well there you go – that Wolverine fork was a bright little reminder of the huge impact Jackman made on so many as Wolverine. If you found this article interesting, check out this one on how The Simpsons’ Hank Azaria feels he should “personally apologize” to every Indian for role as Apu.
