Catch Snoop Dogg(Lion?) out on the field coaching football instead of in the studio…coaching rhymes..?
Snoop moves from dropping rhymes to making sure the kids he coaches don’t drop the football. In the eight-episode season, viewers can watch as Snoop attempts to lead the team to victory. Throughout the series, Coach Snoop and his colleagues use tough love to whip the kids into shape. The series takes place at a high school in South Central Los Angeles where violence and heartache plague the streets.
“My dad, when I was a kid, he left me.”
“I cry sometimes, but I understand how life goes. Life is…it’s not gonna treat you right.”
Snoop is giving these kids meaning, something to accomplish and be proud of in life. Through the personal side stories in the series, the audience will learn intimate details of life in this community. The hardships, the violence, and the solidarity in the community experienced by these kids will be revealed. By keeping these kids off the streets, and on the field, Snoop is playing a huge role in leading the upcoming generations to be good in school and stay away from bad habits. #teamsnoop
