First Betty White and now Bob Saget, the Dad of the 90s. We’re only 11 days into 2022 and we’ve already experienced big losses. Dealing with loss has been the norm since 2020 unfortunately. The pain of losing a loved one and the pain of hearing about a celebrity passing away are two completely different kinds of pain but still pain nonetheless. But even through all that, there will always be the memories you have, nothing can ever take that away.

Saget’s daughter Aubrey shared the last text she received from her father with fans on Instagram. It is short, sweet, and simple saying “Thank u. Love u. Showtime!” Those are the final words she will ever get from her father. Maybe a bright spot is that at least it is a text so she can save the message and all the messages forever. But still, nothing can prepare you for the grief that has struck the Saget family, friends, and of course not forgetting the fans.

Remembering Bob Saget

If there can be any peace brought to the family it’s that there are no signs of drugs, alcohol, or foul play that contributed to his death. But waiting for the next 8 months until there is an official cause of death is going to be excruciating. Saget did talk about having Covid/testing positive for Covid in recent months so maybe that was still giving him problems? Speculation is not good for anyone though. We can all hope that it wasn’t painful especially since he was alone in his hotel room. Rest In Peace Bob, we will always remember you fondly. We hope you and Betty White are living it up, up there.
