In recent events, Jonah Hill uploaded a photo of himself (bearded, bright blue-eyed) with a pretty shiner. Indeed, while speaking about how he landed a black eye, Hill took the time to reignite tensions between himself and Baby Yoda.
In the video, posted to his Instagram, Hill claims that his black eye is the result of, “my surfboard. It is not from a fistfight I got into with Baby Yoda because of our falling out.”
Hmm, no one suggested that Baby Yoda would have been the cause of such a clean shiner…aside from Jonah Hill, it seems.
The feud between Baby Yoda, made wildly famous from his performance in The Mandalorian, dates back to a Variety report which claimed a purported “split” between Hill and the fictional star.
And yet, despite Hill’s show of peace, he went on to challenge Baby Yoda to a Verzuz rap battle.
Peace? Perhaps not quite.
In Hill’s caption, he clarified, “@disneyplus definitely did NOT pay me off to protect the fact that one of their marquee stars has a big mouth and would definitely catch hands if he didn’t sucker punch me with his little baby green fist.”
As of yet, no one has corroborated Hill’s accusation.
At first, Hill appeared to deny any sort of scuffle or feud between himself and the wildly popular fixture of the Star Wars universe. However, it appears now, Hill has changed course.
And yet, in some ways, it may appear that Hill is attempting to quell any bad blood between the two of them. Perhaps only time will tell, or, more likely, the rap battle will tell.
