Cast Member of Tiger King Hints at Season Two Coming Soon

One of Netflix’s biggest hits may be coming out with a season two “pretty soon”.

Almost a year ago, the coronavirus began its initial spread across the Earth. That meant that around this time last year, pretty much everyone was stuck inside trying to prevent the spread of a disease that we didn’t understand all that much.

At that same time, Netflix’s famed docuseries Tiger King was released, helping cure the boredom many were experiencing during quarantine.

The crazy eight episode series captured the eyes of many, and, according to cast member John Reinke, a season two could be coming soon. In a Cameo video sent out by Reinke, he admits to the fact there is a season two on the way.

First off, if you haven’t seen Tiger King, go watch it. It’s truly insanity. Second of all, I have no idea what this second season of the show will entail.

If you have seen the show, you know how it ends. It seems to be somewhat resolved. Joe Exotic ends up behind bars, the zoo undergoes a total revamp, and Carole Baskin’s scandal will continue to be unanswered.

I guess there are a couple of ways the second season can go, but there is simply no way it can be as entertaining as the initial episodes that were released last March. Baskin declined to be in the second season and Mr. Exotic remains in prison despite being hopeful of a presidential pardon.

For as entertaining as all the other characters in the show were, I personally felt that the feud between Baskin and Joe Exotic was the most interesting part. With that now out of the equation, I don’t know if there will be anything that will really get me glued to the TV. I will probably watch it anyway, but my expectations are not that high. I mean, the original is always better than the sequel, right?
