13: The Musical: Release Date, Cast, Plot, And More

13: The Musical was released as an actual musical on Broadway from 2008-2009 and has now made its way to Netflix. This is one of the few musicals released as a Netflix original movie. The others are Tick, Tick…BOOM! Diana The Musical, and Matilda The Musical.

The new family comedy involves a 12-year-old, Evan Goldman, who has just shifted from New York City to a small town in Indiana after his parents separated.

However, as his 13th birthday is about to come, Evan wants to figure out the social dynamics at his new school. He was determined to make a bunch of friends and, most importantly, have a Bar Mitzvah that everyone would like.

13: The Musical was released on Netflix on Friday, August. 12, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET. The movie runs for roughly 90 minutes. Therefore it’s the perfect length for kids and adults.
