Spanish photographer Xavi Bou has wowed the internet with his stunning series, Ornitographies, which features incredible images of birds in flight.
Bou creates these images by condensing several seconds of movement into a single frame to show the flight path of the birds.
On his website it states that the project has grown from his childhood “admiration for nature, especially for birds”, which arose “thanks to unforgettable long walks with his grandfather.”
Bou shares many of his works on Instagram for his followers to enjoy.
One image in particular, which he describes as “one of the most surprising images [he’s] ever taken”, received over 1300 likes with one commenter stating, “I love your work SO MUCH. It’s just incredible!”.
