With the new adjustments to life during a pandemic, someone made a gun that shoots face masks onto people who aren’t following the rules.
Being that we have to rely on one another now more than ever, it’s imperative that we wear face masks and coverings during a global pandemic. This doesn’t seem to be the case for everyone though, being that some don’t believe a face mask truly works in preventing transmission of the coronavirus. A man took this responsibility into his own hands as he made a gun that shoots face masks onto people who believe they are exempt from the rules.
Allen Pan, the creator of the device, uploaded a video to his YouTube channel (that has 1.4 million subscribers) of him putting the infamous mask gun to good use.
Allen says, “It feels like people just aren’t wearing masks, and they should be.” He goes on to say, “American problems demand American solutions” hence implying the face mask gun. Once the contraption is built and ready to go, he takes it to Huntington Beach, California where he says, “has become a symbol for anti-mask sentiment.” Watch the full video above to see the mask gun in action for yourself.
I never thought I would live in a world where we have to shoot masks at people for them to help reduce the spread of a virus, but here we are. Never say never, am I right?
