We’ve only waited for 78 years.

Disney has finally announced at the Las Vegas Comic Con that they will be releasing a live-action remake of the much-adored classic Dumbo. To be directed by Tim Burton, with a whole hoard of top celebrities revealed to be playing the voices, it’s honestly hitting us right in the childhood feels. Are you ready to weep loudly into your popcorn surrounded by a bunch of eight-year-olds in the cinema? I know I sure am.

Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Danny DeVito, and Michael Keaton are confirmed to join the cast list anticipating the release of the new Dumbo on March 29 2019. Production has already begun on Burton’s reimagining of the classic, which is set to feature an enthused circus owner, the former circus star’s children, and of course, Dumbo himself. The plot has us intrigued – let the countdown begin!
