Eric Andre, Adult Swim’s, and, perhaps the universe’s, premier absurdist comedian has a new show coming down the pike, airing midnight on February 18th.

When it seems that he has done it all, whether it was freaking people out at the RNC and DNC respectively, spoiling Wiz Khalifa’s high, or serving Demi Lovato a blurry plate of spaghetti (that’s how it looked on screen, anyway), Eric Andre will embark on a new adventure into the weird with his new show Eric Andre Does Paris.

In the series of fifteen-minute episodes, Andre will waltz about, digging deep into the hearts and minds of Parisians to ask them important existential questions. And yes, he will probably make them extremely uncomfortable in the process. Hey, maybe some of the random street guests will throw him off balance for a change. Peep the trailer, kids.

Perhaps what makes this new series hold strictly to a surrealist atmosphere the most is not the actions and words being pumped out in front of the camera, but actually Andre’s odd garb.

The costume itself is a nod to the surrealist film The Holy Mountain directed by Chilean-French filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky, who Andre credits as his spiritual adviser. There may not be any broken sets on this program, but I’m sure he will break up many folks’ daily routine.
