A Film About The Eggplant Emoji, Because We Need Less Originality In The World Of Cinema

Next stop, The Oscars.

Good news everyone! It is now confirmed that Netflix will be producing a movie with the eggplant emoji as its semi-rotund star. There are bound to be a lot of hoots, hollers, and fart jokes in this one, so hold onto your sides; they may very well split apart by the conclusion of this sure-to-be comedy for the ages.

Hey, who knows, it might even trump the future success of the Patrick Stewart voiced turd emoji film. With Ben Stiller as a co-producer, and the movie will be directed by Jake Syzmanski of SNL, it ought to be a real treasure trove of dry silliness with a touch of darkness.

This may be an animated film, but the premise is purely mature. It appears that it will mirror the style of Sausage Party more than Toy Story. This particular movie doesn’t sound like my cup of tea, but I am also a bit of a snob and despise the regurgitation of nonsensical, internet culture related things, and attempting to pass it off as entertainment. To each his own, though. Just take a gander at the plot description below, and decide for yourself.

When a teenager accidentally cuts off his penis during a camping trip, he and his friends rush to save the appendage before it’s too late.
